1. Provider and scope

These terms govern the use of the Sudoku by Ibexo app (the "app"). The provider is:

By installing and using the app you accept these terms. In addition, the terms of the Apple App Store or Google Play, through which you obtain the app, apply.

2. The app

Sudoku by Ibexo is a calm Sudoku without leaderboards, points, streaks or ads. The app works without an account and without an internet connection. Settings and the current game are stored only on your device.

3. Free trial

After the first launch you can try the app for free without adding a payment method. The trial ends after 15 calendar days or after 15 started games, whichever comes first. A game you have already started may be finished after the trial has ended.

The state of the trial is stored only on your device. After the trial, new games require the full version.

4. Full version

The full version is available as a subscription (1 month or 1 year, renews automatically) or as a one-time purchase "Forever". Both unlock the same features: unlimited play, all assistance features without limits. Current prices are shown in the App Store or Google Play before you buy.

Purchase, payment, renewal, cancellation, refunds and "Restore purchase" are handled entirely by Apple or Google under their terms. We receive no payment data.

5. Subscription

A subscription renews automatically for the chosen period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The amount is charged to your store account.

You cancel or manage the subscription in the subscription settings of your Apple or Google account, not in the app. After cancellation the full version stays active until the end of the paid period. After that the app behaves as after the trial: a running game can be finished, new games require the full version.

Price changes are announced to you in advance by Apple or Google. You may then cancel the subscription.

6. One-time purchase "Forever"

The one-time purchase unlocks the full version permanently for your store account on the respective platform (iOS or Android). It is tied to that store account and cannot be transferred to the other platform.

"Forever" means: as long as the app is offered in the respective store and supported by the operating system. We aim to maintain the app for the long term but cannot guarantee unlimited availability.

7. Restore purchase

On a new device or after reinstalling, you can unlock the full version again with "Restore purchase". This requires the same store account on the same platform.

8. Refunds

Refunds are reviewed and processed exclusively by Apple or Google according to their policies. We have no access to your payment and cannot issue refunds ourselves. Please contact the App Store or Google Play.

9. Free codes for friends and family

We may issue codes that unlock the full version for free. These codes are redeemed in the respective store as Apple Offer Codes or Google Play promo codes ("Redeem code" in the app opens the store's redemption dialog).

A code is valid once per person, is tied to the platform it was issued for and may have an expiry date. Codes may not be sold, traded or shared publicly. We may deactivate codes or groups of codes at any time, for example if they are being spread abusively. There is no entitlement to a code.

10. Permitted use

You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, decompile or redistribute the app, or circumvent its unlocking.

11. Intellectual property

The app, its design, its texts and its puzzles are protected by copyright. All rights remain with the provider. With your purchase you receive a simple, non-transferable licence to use the app.

12. Changes and availability

We keep developing the app and may change, add or remove features. The current version of these terms is available in the app and online at https://ibexo.games/sudoku/terms/. Material changes are shown in the app. We are not obliged to offer the app indefinitely, but will announce a discontinuation with reasonable notice.

13. Warranty and liability

We build the app with care but cannot guarantee that it runs without errors at all times. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Apple and Google are not responsible for the app, its content or its maintenance. They are, however, entitled to enforce these terms against you to the extent their store rules require.

14. Governing law

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the registered seat of the provider. Mandatory consumer protection provisions at your place of residence remain reserved.
